Job summary

The University of Miami/UHealth Department of Surgery: Vascular is seeking an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse to examine and treat patients, often independently and in collaboration with physicians.

The APRN will perform physicals, order tests, prescribe treatments, and guide preoperative and postoperative care within a multidisciplinary team. This full-time role requires Florida APRN licensure and a Master’s degree, with at least two years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in relevant field.
• Valid State of Florida APRN license.
• Minimum 2 Years Of Relevant Experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs and documents complete physical examinations and health histories.
• Orders and interprets diagnostic and therapeutic tests.
• Prescribes pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatment modalities.
• Assists with care in accordance with regulations and standards.
• Collaborates with multidisciplinary team and provides patient education.
• Facilitates transitions and discharge planning for patients.
