Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing required; APRN license.
• Florida APRN license valid and active.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Participates in patient rounds with Surgical Teams: Head and Neck, Surgical Oncology, Neurological surgery, Orthopaedic, Cardiac, Thoracic, Urology.
• Completes history, performs exams, reviews records, interprets tests, and documents plans per supervising physician.
• Acts as liaison between Nursing and Surgical services to ensure proper follow-up and patient flow.
• Provides education to patients and families on wound care, drains, tubes, feeding lines, and discharge needs.
• Contributes to quality improvement initiatives and continuous care assessments.
• Facilitates timely and safe discharges in coordination with leadership and care teams.
