Job summary

BD, a leading global medical technology company, is seeking a Field Sales Representative in Atlanta, GA. You will drive growth by targeting hospitals and distributors, manage key accounts, and promote BD disposables and solutions.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years healthcare sales, strong negotiation and presentation skills, and a track record of meeting quotas. Travel up to 50% and in-office collaboration are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA a plus.
• 3 to 5 years healthcare sales experience preferred.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, analytical and large account management skills a must.
• Demonstrated sales success, solid negotiation, and strong listening/presentation skills.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience managing budgets and resources; pre-call planning; account prioritization.

Location & Territory

Atlanta, GA (specifically south Atlanta region)

Products

Selling medical disposables such as IV Catheters, Midlines, PICC, CVC , hypodermic needles, prefilled saline flush, Chloraprep and dressing change kits.

Primary Responsibilities

• Meeting/exceeding sales quota
• Managing incremental conversion opportunities from initial targeting through evaluation, product ordering and in servicing
• Maintaining existing business
• Implementing marketing initiatives
• Implementing national/regional contractual agreements
• Providing routine performance reporting
• Working with local distributor branches servicing the territory
• Utilizing available sales support resources.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA a plus.
• 3 to 5 years of successful healthcare related sales experience preferred.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, analytical and large account management skills a must.
• Must have a demonstrated successful sales track record, solid negotiation skills, exhibit effective selling, listening, and verbal/presentation skills, and ability to assess and respond to customer needs.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint required.
• Must have demonstrated experience in managing both internal and external budgets and resources, conducting pre-call planning, and ability to prioritize and segment accounts.
• Must be willing to travel.
• Must be able to travel up to 50%.

Salary ranges have been implemented to reward associates fairly and competitively, as well as to support recognition of associates’ progress, ranging from entry level to experts in their field, and talent mobility. There are many factors, such as location, that contribute to the range displayed. The salary offered to a successful candidate is based on experience, education, skills, and actual work location. Salary ranges may vary for Field‑based and Remote roles. $125,992 - $210,300 (Range reflects base salary and other sales incentives).
