Job summary

Lee Health is hiring a Vascular Access Nurse (RN) for multiple locations in Fort Myers, FL. This full-time role covers Days, Mid, and Nights shifts with a focus on vascular access procedures and high-quality patient care.

Qualifications include RN licensure in Florida, BLS, and 2 years acute care experience in vascular access or related areas. PICC/ultrasound-guided IV skills are preferred, with relocation benefits included for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing required; Associates or Bachelors preferred.
• Two years of recent acute care experience in vascular access role, or in a specialty that performs heavy volume of IVs (ED/SPCU), required.
• PICC line insertion experience preferred.
• Ultrasound-guided IV experience preferred.
• Proof of American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS), current for a minimum of 90 days after hire date.
• Currently licensed in the State of Florida.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the safe delivery and documentation of patient care through the nursing process.
• Collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery.
• Adheres to nursing practice standards and Florida Nurse Practice Act.
