Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Two years of acute care experience in vascular access or related high-volume IV area.
• PICC line insertion experience preferred.
• Ultrasound-guided IV experience preferred.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and document patient care using the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Coordinate nursing care with other disciplines to achieve desired patient outcomes.
• Follow ANA standards and Florida Nurse Practice Act and regulatory guidelines.
• Contribute to quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
