Job summary

Mercy Home Health in Paducah, KY is seeking an RN with PICC experience to provide vascular access, placing PICC lines and peripheral IVs with or without ultrasound and obtaining labs as needed. You will chart care and collaborate with the care team to assess and treat patients.

The ideal candidate holds an Associate Degree in Nursing, KY licensure, and current BLS/ACLS/PALS, with 2+ years of nursing experience. Ultrasound-guided IV insertion and PICC experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing or higher required.
• Current KY nursing license, BLS/ACLS/PALS.
• Ultrasound-guided IV insertion and PICC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Place PICC lines and peripheral IV catheters (with or without ultrasound).
• Evaluate and troubleshoot vascular access devices.
• Educate team on vascular access care and device use.
• Chart care accurately and promptly.
• Communicate with Team Lead about patient assessments and treatments.
• Collect data for patient safety and quality.
