Job summary

Froedtert Health seeks a Vascular Access Registered Nurse at our Milwaukee facility to assess, place, and maintain vascular access devices while delivering high-quality patient care.

You will educate staff and patients, collaborate with the multidisciplinary team, and adhere to safety standards. Requires an RN license and 2+ years of direct patient care experience, with BLS certification and Wisconsin licensure/MCN compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of direct patient care as an RN in a medical/surgical or critical care setting.
• Current Wisconsin RN license or multi-state license (NLC) and BLS within 90 days.
• Professional nursing education as required for licensure and ongoing competency.

Responsibilities

• Assess, insert and maintain vascular access devices and monitor patient response.
• Educate staff and patients on vascular access care and safety.
• Collaborate with care teams to ensure quality and patient safety.
