Job summary

AdventHealth in Orlando, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse specialized in venous access to support the Vascular Access Services team. This full-time night shift role focuses on PICCs, midlines, central lines, and ultrasound-guided IVs, with emphasis on safety, sterile technique, and patient education.

The role requires RN licensure, BLS, ACLS, and certification in vascular access preferred; weekend coverage and cross-functional collaboration are expected.

Qualifications

• ACLS required or in progress

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot venous access devices following policy.
• Ensure aseptic technique and PPE usage according to CDC guidelines.
• Assess patient needs related to infusion therapy and venous access.
• Provide patient education on care and home considerations.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to facilitate timely access for therapies.
• Document procedures and patient responses accurately.
