Job summary

Kidney Specialists of Southern Nevada is seeking a skilled RN to join our vascular access team in Las Vegas. You will monitor patients during procedures, maintain records, and assist the clinical team with pre/post care to ensure safety and quality.

Required are two years in nursing with a Nevada RN license, plus BLS/ACLS and conscious sedation certification. Vaccination and infection control duties are part of daily responsibilities; strong teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years’ RN experience, preferably in dialysis, critical care, medical/surgical or ambulatory surgery.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in nursing.
• Current Nevada RN license.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Conscious sedation certification by date of hire.
• Influenza vaccine annually.

Responsibilities

• Gathers and monitors patient data during procedures to deliver vascular access care.
• Maintains clear patient records and documents per standards.
• Maintains narcotic drug log and inventory; coordinates with pharmacist.
• Coordinates daily clinical team work with the DON and staff.
• Performs infection control duties and audits; conducts drills as needed.
• Schedules pre-operative calls and post-operative follow-ups with patients.
