Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in Woodland Park, NJ is seeking a qualified RN to support patient care during procedures, monitor sedation, and ensure safety and quality.

You will document patient information, administer medications and IV moderate sedation under physician orders, assist with scrub duties, and participate in CQI processes.

The role requires ACLS/BLS certifications, strong computer skills, and a commitment to safe, patient-centered care in a busy facility.

Qualifications

• RN licensure is required and current.
• High School Diploma required; Associate's Degree desirable; and Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred.
• ACLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Proficient in IV insertion and setting up vascular access.
• Monitor patient condition before, during and after procedure, especially with moderate sedation.
• Administer medications and IV moderate sedation per physician’s orders; document thoroughly.
• Assist physician as scrub tech and maintain sterile technique during procedures.
• Maintain medical records accurately from admission to discharge and report adverse events.
• Participate in CQI activities and regulatory compliance.
