Sarasota Memorial Health Care System is seeking a skilled registered nurse to coordinate, insert, and maintain vascular access devices, including PIVs, PICCs, midlines, and central lines. You will support patient care and collaborate with the nursing team on best practices for vascular access.
The role requires acute care experience, BSN/ diploma paths, BLS, and certification in VA-BC or CRNI within one year of hire. Work hours are 11:00am to 11:00pm, on-site in Sarasota, FL.
Vascular Access Team
Coordinate, insert, and/or maintain vascular access devices including but not limited to ultrasound peripheral intravenous catheters, Extended dwell catheters, Midline catheters, and Peripherally inserted central catheters (PICC). Care and maintenance of vascular access devices including all central lines and life ports in coordination with nursing. Serves as a clinical resource and consultant to the interprofessional team on vascular access.
