VAS LeadReports to: Department SupervisorLocation: Mooresville**The Role**The purpose of a Distribution Lead is to oversee the daily productivity of the assigned department. This position will be responsible for the daily and/or hourly delegation of tasking associates, pulling and reading reports regarding incoming waves, ensuring the department headcount is sufficient to properly complete the estimated production for the shift, tracking associate performance, and properly communicate any issues to other Leads or Management.A department Lead is responsible for productivity tasks and to keep a steady work flow within the department and dependent Fulfillment departments. It is expected that a Department Lead show exemplary patience when issues occur and be comfortable in providing crucial conversations and coaching associates regarding productivity or behavior issues as needed. It is expected that a Department Lead demonstrates a professional demeanor and treats associates with fairness.
