Job Purpose: Reporting to the Co-Pack/Retail Fulfillment Manager, this role manages shift staff, oversees employee performance and disciplinary actions, and supervises all computer entry work and paperwork flow.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assign work to warehouse staff based on customer specifications.
- Monitor the quality and accuracy of shipments per customer requirements.
- Update staffing and train staff on any customer requirement changes.
- Communicate with customers and respond to inquiries, implementing necessary actions.
- Ensure safety, training, and development of employees, drivers, and contractors per OSHA and RJW policies.
- Oversee accurate and efficient computer data entry.
- Assign duties and review work for accuracy and policy compliance.
- Manage employee timesheets, including overtime and temp hours, for payroll processing.
- Perform daily building checks, report issues, and assist with equipment maintenance.
- Ensure adherence to AIB standards and complete related training for handling food products.
- Complete safety and equipment checklists, issuing corrective actions as needed.
- Handle accident reporting and emergency procedures, notifying HR and management as required.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Co-Pack manager.
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of related co-pack experience.
- 2+ years of warehouse supervisory experience.
- Experience with WMS software (Synapse preferred).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Access.
Education and Experience:
- Associate's degree or 6+ years of supervisory/management experience with references.
- Ability to interpret safety rules, procedures, and manuals.
- Excellent report writing skills.
- Physical ability to count and handle products on shelves and pallets.
