Job summary

Windham High School in Windham, NH is seeking a Varsity Wrestling Coach for the 2026-2027 school year. The coach will instruct athletes in the fundamental skills, strategy and physical training to promote individual and team success.

Ideal candidate has a minimum of three years as a head coach at the high school level or five years as an assistant coach at college or high school. CPR/First Aid, NFHS and NH certifications are required; teaching certification is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of head coaching experience at high school level or 5+ years as assistant coach at college/high school preferred.
• Secondary Teaching certification preferred but not required.
• Must have or be able to acquire CPR/First Aid Certification along with NFHS and NH certifications; strong knowledge of NHIAA rules and Windham policies.

Responsibilities

• Instruct athletes in fundamental wrestling skills, strategy, and conditioning.
• Plan and conduct practices and games, develop game plans, and motivate student-athletes.
• Ensure compliance with NHIAA rules and Windham School District policies; promote sportsmanship and discipline.
