Job summary

Fitzgerald Public Schools in Warren, MI is seeking a Track Varsity Assistant Girls/Boys Coach. The role supports varsity track programs for both genders, develops skills, and upholds safety and sportmanship.

You will collaborate with the Athletic Director and Building Principal to plan practice schedules, select competition lineups, and ensure district policies are followed. Certification in First Aid/CPR is required or in progress, plus CAP Level 1 documentation prior to the second season.

Qualifications

• One to three years coaching experience preferred.
• Demonstrate ability to effectively work with students, staff and parents.
• Completion of CAP Level 1 before start of second season or agreement to complete it.
• First Aid & CPR Certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist in coaching Track Varsity for girls and boys.
• Coordinate with Athletic Director and Building Principal on schedules and lineups.
• Uphold safety, sportsmanship, and district policies.
