Job summary

Menlo School is seeking a Varsity Offensive Line coach for the 2026 football season, starting immediately. The role involves mentoring student athletes, upholding school values, and coordinating with JV coaches to ensure consistent instruction.

The position is seasonal and hourly, with pay reflecting on-field and off-field duties, meetings, travel, and practice prep. Experience coaching and playing football is required, and attendance at summer practice is expected.

Qualifications

• Previous coaching and playing experience required.
• Ability to teach offensive line techniques and schemes.
• Able to work with JV coaches for consistency.

Responsibilities

• Working in tandem with JV coaches to secure consistent teaching between both levels
• Consistent practice attendance, including summer football, meeting times, and games throughout the course of a season
• Display knowledge and fundamentals of offensive line scheme and techniques
• Both Run and Pass Game front play high school and or college equivalency
• The ability to present instructional direction to a position group in both an on-field and class room setting
• Ability to develop and establish a personal connection with Menlo athletes, staff, and administration members while maintaining professional boundaries
• Previous coaching and playing experience are required.
