Job summary

Beaverton High School, part of the Beaverton School District in Beaverton, Oregon, seeks a highly qualified Varsity Head Girls’ Tennis Coach to lead the program with strong ethics and serve as a role model for student athletes.

The candidate will oversee all program operations, hire and train coaches, monitor academic progress, and maintain positive community relations while promoting athletic excellence and character development.

Qualifications

• NFHS Certification.
• First Aid Card.
• District Fingerprinting/Criminal Check.
• OSAA Concussion Test.
• OSAA Steroid Program.
• OSAA Heat Acclimatization/Heat Illness Prevention.
• All District Requirements, OSAA paperwork, Safe Schools and employment forms.

Responsibilities

• Managing all aspects of the high school program including summer training, off-season workouts, tryouts, formation of teams, cuts, practice schedules, culture, calendaring, and routines.
• Hiring, training program coaches – establish program expectations, roles, and oversee assistant coaches.
• Provide regular communication with athletes/parents/families/staff, OSAA, League, AD’s office, etc.
