Job summary

East Side Union High School District is seeking a Varsity Coach to lead our sports program, teaching fundamental and advanced skills, instilling discipline and teamwork, and ensuring compliance with CIF/CCS and BVAL Codes of Conduct.

The coach will collaborate with parents, students, staff, and the community, oversee all levels of the program, and balance athletic duties with academic responsibilities, while maintaining safety and program integrity.

Qualifications

• Experience coaching at high school or higher level.
• Current California coaching certifications.
• Fingerprint clearance.
• Edjoin application with cover letter and resume.
• Annual mandated reporter training.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge of rules and fundamental skills and techniques for the sport.
• Organizes practices and designs conditioning programs for the sport.
• Follows CIF/CCS/BVAL Codes of Conduct and district policies.
• Works with parents, students, staff and the community.
• Oversees all levels within the program/sport.
• Maintains positive communication with the community.
