• Assists the head coach in duties related to football in addition to coaching the Varsity team.
• Checks practice areas daily and removes hazards.
• Develops positive public relations within the school and community.
• Makes equipment recommendations to the head coach.
• Supervises in locker rooms before and after practice.
• Provides up-to-date medical procedures for athletic injuries.
• Sets a good example for students on and off the field.
• Ensures eligibility of participants and insurance coverage in collaboration with head coach.
• Follows football rules, SC High School League rules, and district policies.
