Job description

Holy Innocents’ Episcopal School is seeking a Varsity Assistant Swim and Dive Community Coach. The coach is responsible for educating student athletes so that they achieve a high level of skill as well as an appreciation for discipline, sportsmanship, and teamwork in the swim and dive program at HIES. This is a part-time position.

HIES is the largest Episcopal Parish Day school in the country, offering a fully accredited college preparatory program for students age three through 12th grade. HIES is located north of downtown Atlanta between I-75 and GA 400.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Works closely with the Head Varsity Swim and Dive coach to support various aspects of the program including training, program development, practice planning, and meet preparation.
• Ensures compliance with GHSA rules and regulations.
• Conducts and attends athletic department staff and coaching meetings.
• Supports the school’s mission by fostering a love of learning, respect for self and others, a faith in God, and a sense of service to the world community.
