American Leadership Academy - Anthem JH/HS

We’re currently seeking a qualified Varsity Assistant Cheerleading Coach for the 2026‑2027 season. Candidates must possess, or be willing to obtain, a valid Arizona IVP fingerprint clearance card.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Handling/maintaining equipment and utilization of playing areas in conjunction with the Athletic Director.
• Assist Varsity Head Coach with making specific requests for equipment and supplies.
• Manage care and distribution of equipment and supplies.
• Attend all meetings held by the Athletic Director and the League Chairperson.
• Establish good public relations with parents, teachers, community, and the news media.
• Report contest results to the Varsity Head Coach.
• Verify all practice/game fields are safe for players and spectators.
• Coordinate fundraising with the Booster Clubs.
• Have a well-developed coaching philosophy.
• Have a “Plan for Success” that outlines expectations and discipline for the program.
• Assist in developing a year‑round action plan for maximizing the potential of each athlete.
• Other duties as assigned, including any pre or post‑season responsibilities.

Required Qualifications:

• Valid AZ IVP Fingerprint Clearance card

Preferred Requirements:

• Previous experience as Coach
• Previous classroom teaching experience
