Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in functional, integration, regression, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Proficiency in SQL, data validation, data reconciliation, and database testing.
• Expertise in validating compensation plans, quotas, territories, crediting rules, and incentive calculations.
• Experience testing Varicent Composer reports, dashboards, scorecards, and statements.
• Knowledge of ETL testing, data migration, and integration testing with Salesforce, SAP, Oracle, Workday, and other systems.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies, SDLC, defect management, and release cycles.
• Hands-on experience with JIRA, Azure DevOps, ServiceNow, and test management tools.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis skills.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate with business users, developers, and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business and functional requirements related to compensation plans and incentive programs.
• Create and execute test plans, test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts for Varicent applications.
• Validate compensation calculations, commissions, bonuses, quotas, and territory assignments.
• Perform data validation and reconciliation between source systems and Varicent.
• Test inbound and outbound interfaces, ETL processes, and integrations with enterprise applications.
• Validate reports, dashboards, statements, and scorecards generated through Varicent Composer.
• Perform regression testing to ensure existing functionality remains unaffected by changes.
• Identify, log, track, and verify defects using JIRA or other defect-tracking tools.
• Collaborate with developers and business teams to resolve issues and clarify requirements.
• Support SIT, UAT, production deployments, and post-release validation activities.
• Prepare test execution reports, defect metrics, and QA status updates for project stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, testing best practices, and governance processes.
