ChampionX is seeking a Drive Shop Variable Speed Drive (VSD) Technician in Odessa, TX. This role supports VSDs and related equipment, with potential field exposure and on-site maintenance responsibilities.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma, safety awareness, and solid tool use. You will troubleshoot drive systems and assist service technicians while adhering to company policies and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Performs operational support activities for Variable Speed Drives and related equipment, usually in the shop environment with some field exposure.
• Performs on-site preventative maintenance, routine repair, and calibration using company guidelines.
• Performs emergency repairs.
• Troubleshoot communications packages.
• Troubleshoot all VSD or Switchboard types.
• Provide technical support for service technicians on VSDs or other surface equipment in the field.

What You Will Do:

• Performs operational support activities for Variable Speed Drives and other equipment and system products such as wiring, cabling, and other complex equipment, usually in the shop environment but some potential field exposure.
