Store Manager

As the Store Manager, you inspire, motivate, lead, and develop a store team. You champion business strategies, vision, and values. Additionally, you impact the overall bottom line by maintaining optimal staffing levels, recruiting, hiring, educating, and motivating a team. You are responsible for setting the example for customer engagement that exceeds industry standards. You maximize store profitability by controlling expenses, protecting company assets, and ensuring that store standards and processes for merchandising, operations, and community participation are well executed. How You Will Make a Difference

What you will do:

  1. You will strategically lead the team to maximize and achieve store sales goals, monitoring sales progress against targets.
  2. Model and foster a consumer-centric mindset within the store, demonstrating selling behaviors through genuine interactions for the team to emulate.
  3. Attract, recruit, and hire high-caliber, diverse talent, maintaining a strong succession plan within your store.
  4. Provide coaching, feedback, training, and supervision to associates.
  5. Communicate clearly, set expectations for customer engagement, store policies, and procedures, and build a strong team.
  6. Manage expenses to maximize sales and profitability, creating an environment of productivity and ensuring the team has the knowledge and skills to meet store goals.

Skills for Success

What you bring:

  • 3-5+ years of related professional/retail management experience
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays
  • Proven ability to drive results through store teams
  • Strong coaching and motivational skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Solution-oriented and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience and achievements are valued over formal education, though degrees are a plus.
