Expert Graphic Designer

Our client is seeking an Expert Graphic Designer to lead the development of compelling graphic narratives within the women’s apparel space. This role focuses on delivering culturally relevant, visually impactful designs aligned with a global lifestyle and sportswear brand. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with deep experience in apparel design, who can quickly interpret creative briefs and deliver exceptional results in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

This role is a hybrid model in Beaverton, Oregon.

Expert Graphic Designer Responsibilities

  • Concept and execute visually compelling graphic designs that align with strategic product narratives for women’s apparel.
  • Translate consumer and cultural insights into inspiring design solutions across trims, prints, and graphic applications.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with design, development, and product teams to bring concepts to life within cost and timeline constraints.
  • Present seasonal creative direction and graphic stories to internal stakeholders with clarity and intent.
  • Lead team discussions, synthesize feedback, and drive forward design decisions to meet project milestones.
  • Ensure all graphic outputs align with brand standards and consumer expectations.
  • Influence cross-functional teams and support alignment around visual storytelling strategy.

Expert Graphic Designer Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of graphic design experience in apparel, preferably within sportswear or a comparable industry.
  • Strong understanding of cultural and consumer trends impacting women’s lifestyle and activewear.
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly interpret and execute creative briefs, typically within a two-week timeframe.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and digital / 3D design tools; strong visual storytelling and typographic skills.
  • Portfolio showcasing expertise in print design, graphic development, and narrative concepting is required (please provide password if applicable).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; able to effectively share and justify design intent.
  • Experience working in fast-paced, collaborative environments with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
