Saunders Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, located in Wynnewood, PA 19096, has an excellent full-time opportunity for Van Driver. We appreciate Saunders Team Member who demonstrate genuine dedication, caring and professionalism when interacting with and servicing the needs of our patients, residents, their loved ones as well as co-workers.

Position Requirements:

  • Has a current, unencumbered Pennsylvania driver’s license. Demonstrates knowledge of Pennsylvania state laws and regulations for safely operating motor vehicles.
  • Two years of experience as a Van Driver for healthcare service provider (long-term care facility, ambulance, etc.)
  • Knowledge, skill and ability to operate large, heavy buses used to transport a variety of special passengers including handicapped people and senior citizens.
  • Knowledge. Skill and ability to operate bus and van equipment (accessibility lift and ramp), assisting residents as needed.


Position Responsibilities:

  • Reports all needed repairs to supervisor or mechanic. Performs minor maintenance work as directed.
  • Keeps mileage records and completes other reports as directed.
  • Learns and uses most efficient routes to transport residents.
  • In the event of emergency situation or a disaster that affects the facility, reports to duty as assigned or requested to ensure the safety of all residents.
  • May be required to work overtime as assigned or requested to handle snow removal, etc.
  • Complies with all federal, state and local laws and regulations pertaining to long term care facilities. Complies with all company policies, procedures and programs such as, but not limited to, Residents Rights, Abuse Prevention, HIPAA, etc.
