About the role

We’re looking for some amazing team members to help continue to build Ridwell’s operations in Los Angeles. As one of the earliest employees on the ground, your primary responsibility will be operating a Ridwell company vehicle and ensuring all member pickups go smoothly, but you will also spend time assisting with warehouse operations while building and shaping processes of the operations team. This position will have a high level of customer engagement since providing support to new Ridwell members is critical for our success in Los Angeles.

Schedule: (4) Ten-hour shifts - 7:30a-6:00p - Monday-Friday

Starting wage: $22/hour

*Guaranteed tenure-based wage increases

$50/month cell phone stipend

Job Duties

• Safely operate Ridwell high-roof cargo vans throughout the Los Angeles area
• Complete between 125 - 150 daily stops efficiently and accurately
• Collect members' materials from designated bins at their homes
• Assist with completing remaining stops after finishing your assigned route
• Navigate routes effectively using the provided smartphone apps
• Maintain regular communication with our dedicated Driver Support team regarding route timing
• Manage loading and unloading of vehicles efficiently
• Deliver Ridwell bins and new member kits to members’ homes
• Provide excellent customer service when interacting with Ridwell members
• Work safely outdoors and in all weather conditions, various temperature extremes, including heat, cold, moisture, and wind
• Transition between driving and warehouse responsibilities as needed
• Follow all company policies and safety procedures consistently
• Support additional operational needs as they arise
• Maintain positive communication with team members across all functions
• A smartphone is required for GPS navigation and route management (phone stipend provided).

Job Requirements

• Ability to maintain consistent attendance - we count on each other to be here when scheduled so we can deliver excellent service as a team
• Must be 21 years or older with a valid CA driver’s license for at least 3 years
• Ability to read and follow written or oral instructions in English
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, and frequently push, pull, squat, bend and reach, and lift up to 49 lbs, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Must own and be able to use a smartphone and Google or Apple maps
• Ability to communicate effectively digitally via text and email.
• Must pass a background and motor vehicle history check if offered the position.

$22 - $22 an hour
