Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities:

  • Promote the mission and core values of the Residence and LCB Senior Living to residents, visitors, co-workers, and the surrounding community.
  • Actively participate in growing community occupancy by representing and interacting positively with potential residents, their families, and professionals.
  • Perform all duties with a positive attitude.
  • Operate a 7 to 14+ passenger vehicle.
  • Ensure vehicle readiness, including safety checks, supplies, and updated emergency information.
  • Assist residents with entering and leaving the vehicle and with baggage as needed.
  • Enforce safety rules during travel.
  • Manage paperwork for appointments and deliver to appropriate persons.
  • Transport residents to and from appointments, activities, and destinations.
  • Maintain the vehicle with fuel, oil, fluids, and cleanliness, and perform emergency repairs as needed.
  • Attend required training and respond to residents' requests.
  • Assist in planning and organizing residence activities.

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
    • Excellent customer service skills
    • Strong driving skills and automotive knowledge
    • Effective communication in English, both orally and in writing
    • Frequent lifting, bending, and stretching
    • Ability to handle emergency situations calmly
  • Education: High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Experience: Minimum of three years driving experience
  • Licenses: Valid driver’s license in the state, with no more than two moving violations in three years
  • Physical Demands:
    • Dexterity to handle instruments and equipment
    • Visual and auditory acuity
    • Ability to lift at least 25 lbs., push/pull carts, and walk, sit, or stand for extended periods
    • Ability to perform tasks requiring bending, crouching, and reaching
