Join to apply for the Van Driver, Senior Living Community role at Benchmark Senior Living.

We are seeking a compassionate Van Driver to join our team! The Van Driver is responsible for providing transportation for community residents. This role involves planning, coordinating, and executing all van transportation activities as needed.

Position Details:

  • Part Time, 8:30 AM - 3:00 PM, Monday to Wednesday, with occasional weekend needs

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain vehicles according to warranty requirements and internal maintenance plans to ensure safety and functionality
  • Act as an Activity Assistant during excursions, staying with the group unless parking the van
  • Transport residents to medical appointments, outings, and shopping trips
  • Monitor resident activity and alert staff when assistance is needed to ensure safety

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Interest in elderly care and understanding of their needs
  • Experience in activities or recreation preferred
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
