Job summary

Pace Solano is seeking a driver to provide curb-to-curb transportation for individuals with developmental disabilities in Fairfield. You will report issues to your supervisor and maintain vehicle cleanliness and safety while supporting daily living activities.

The role requires a valid California driver’s license, 18+ years old, and the ability to pass background checks and pre-employment screenings. Training and schedule details provided by Pace Solano.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must possess a valid CA Class C driver’s license and DMV printout
• Must pass pre-placement physical including TB test or chest X-ray, BAT, drug screen, and pre-work screen (lift 38 lbs)
• DOJ/FBI fingerprint clearance
• Must pass pre-employment test (grammar, spelling, and math 70%+).

Responsibilities

• Provide curb-to-curb transportation following routes and report issues to supervisor.
• Conduct daily safety check on vehicle and wheelchair lift; report concerns.
• Complete daily documentation: attendance sheets, Time & Mileage sheets, fuel receipts.
• Assist participants with daily living activities and participate in activities.
• Display professional, respectful demeanor and follow safety procedures.
