Job summary

Lifecare Alliance is seeking a full-time delivery driver to pick up meals and equipment from Columbus and deliver to clients in the Dayton area. The role requires reliable navigation, safe driving, and timely deliveries.

Responsibilities include loading and unloading, maintaining vehicle cleanliness, and communicating with clients. A high school diploma or GED is required, with preferred prior delivery experience and familiarity with the Dayton/Central Ohio region.

• Deliver scheduled items to designated locations in Central Ohio/Dayton area using program vehicle.
• Pick up empty bags, coolers, equipment according to schedule.
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of items.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle.
• Communicate with clients and team members to ensure smooth operations.
• Adhere to safety and traffic regulations while operating vehicle.
• Report issues to supervisor.
• Assist loading/unloading as needed.
• Perform routine vehicle checks and maintenance to ensure optimal performance.

Salary Range: $14.00 Hourly

Job Purpose:

• The position is responsible for picking up meals, equipment, and other assigned items from the distribution location in Columbus, Ohio and delivering to designated locations in the Dayton Ohio Area for delivering to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for scheduled delivery of packaged meals, bags, coolers, equipment, and other assigned items to locations in Central Ohio/Dayton Area using program vehicle.
• Pick up empty bags, coolers, equipment following a schedule, and other assigned items.
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of items to designated locations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle.
• Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure smooth delivery operations.
• Adhere to all safety and traffic regulations while operating the vehicle.
• Report any issues or discrepancies encountered during deliveries to the supervisor.
• Assist in loading and unloading items as needed.
• Perform routine checks and maintenance of the delivery vehicle to ensure optimal performance.

Qualifications

Required Education:

• Must have a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience

Required Experience:

• Previous experience in a delivery or driving role is preferred
• Familiarity with the Central Ohio/Dayton area is advantageous
