Join our team at Fountain View at Logan Square as a Van Driver, proudly supported by Marquis Health Consulting Services. This position includes per diem opportunities, night and weekend shifts, and pays between $18 to $19 per hour.

The Van Driver is essential to ensuring residents safely reach medical appointments and have reliable transportation. Responsibilities include maintaining vehicle safety standards and ensuring a positive experience for residents.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older with a valid driver’s license.
• Must have a clean driving record and demonstrate safe driving practices.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience transporting patients to and from medical appointments required.
• Ability to interact professionally and compassionately with residents, families, staff, and the public.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
• Strong desire to work with and support the elderly population.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport residents to and from medical appointments.
• Assist residents in and out of the vehicle as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and operational vehicle.
• Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Conduct routine vehicle checks and report maintenance needs.
• Maintain timely transportation schedules and communicate delays.
• Provide courteous interaction with residents, families, and staff.
• Ensure resident safety and well-being during transport.
