Role Overview

To enhance consumer mobility, we offer professional and accessible transportation services prioritizing safety, reliability, comfort, and courtesy. The position involves operating a county vehicle for about 150 miles daily, providing transportation and social interaction for clients, including seniors and wheelchair users. Excellent communication skills, patience, and a willingness to assist clients navigate challenging terrains are essential. Flexibility and the ability to connect with people are crucial for success in this role.

Work Schedule and Additional Details

• Part-time, 14 to 21+ hours per week
• Work hours vary between 4:00 AM to 9:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with limited Saturday hours
• No telework options available
• Salary may be non-negotiable in some cases

Qualifications

Minimum Experience and Training:

• One year of employment involving motor vehicle operation or an equivalent combination of experience and training

Special Requirements:

• Valid Pennsylvania driver’s license

Employment Conditions:

• No license suspension in the past three years

Additional Requirements:

• Meet PA residency requirements
• Able to perform essential job functions

Legal and Background Checks:

• Pass a background investigation
• Complete drug screening and medical examination upon conditional offer
• Comply with Child Protective Services Law, including criminal history checks
