Position: Van Driver for PLEA

Pay Range: $16/hour, part-time.

Hours are based upon the Life Friends schedule: Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday 12pm-4pm.

Job description

PLEA Compeer Life Friends is hiring a Van Driver for its Recreation Program in Oakland, PA.

As a Van Driver at PLEA, you will work with dedicated professionals to help individuals in need. Hours are part-time, based on the Life Friends schedule from 12pm-4pm on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.

We offer:

  • Opportunities to work with adults with behavioral health challenges in a recreational setting.

The van driver is responsible for transporting adults from their group homes to the Life Friends center in Oakland.

PLEA also offers ASCEND, a career accelerator program providing guidance, coaching, skills, and financial assistance, including tuition and student loan repayment.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • High School diploma/GED
  • Valid PA Driver’s License with a clean driving record
  • ACT 33, ACT 34, and FBI Fingerprint Clearances
  • PA Mandated Reporter Training
  • Must be 18 years or older

  • Skilled in van operation and maintenance
