We are seeking a compassionate and responsible Transportation Driver with Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Certification to join our team. As a Transporter, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and timely transportation of our residents and their property to medical appointments, activities, and other destinations. Additionally, you will provide basic nursing care and assistance as needed, helping to maintain the comfort and well-being of our residents.

This position is ideal for a Certified Nursing Assistant dedicated to providing high-quality care and who enjoys working in a dynamic, supportive environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide safe and reliable transportation for residents to and from appointments, outings, and activities using facility vehicles.
  • Review daily transportation schedules and be available accordingly.
  • Accurately document transportation activities and any care provided during transit, following facility protocols.
  • Assist residents with entering and exiting vehicles, ensuring comfort and security during transport.
  • Report any issues or concerns to appropriate staff.
  • Engage with residents in a friendly and compassionate manner, ensuring they feel valued and cared for throughout their journey.
  • Adhere to all facility policies and comply with local, state, and federal regulations related to transportation and resident care.
  • Maintain facility vehicles, ensuring they are clean, well-maintained, and meet safety standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Perform CNA duties as needed, including monitoring vital signs, assisting with personal hygiene, and providing essential care services.
Required Qualifications
  • Must be at least 18 years old with a High School diploma or GED.
  • Ability to read and communicate effectively regarding essential job duties.
  • Valid Class C driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Experience as a patient transport van driver.
  • Experience operating a company vehicle.
  • Current CPR certification or willingness to obtain within 6 months.
  • Ability to perform minor lifting, walking, and bending.
  • Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license.
