• Report accidents, safety situations, vehicle condition, or damage to the Youth and Teen Director.
• Keep the bus clean and maintained.
• Obey all traffic laws and demonstrate careful and safe-driving procedures at all times.
• Save daily driving logs, including mileage, passengers and gas receipts.
• Pick up the van in the JCC parking lot for scheduled shifts. The keys remain at the JCC when the van is not in use.

The Van Driver/Chaperone is responsible for the safe and timely transport and chaperoning of elementary students ages 5-12. This position is classified as Non-Exempt and does not offer a benefits package. Hours are from 12PM-4PM, or 2PM-6PM, Monday through Friday. RESPONSIBILITIES:

Help children in boarding and exiting vehicle.

REQUIREMENTS:

Availability to work a flexible schedule, up to 20 hours per week, with an occasional maximum of 29 hours.

Have a current valid Texas driver’s license, and over the age of 25.

Own and maintain an official clean motor vehicle record.

Possess knowledge of the local area.

Provide exceptional customer service with a positive attitude.

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Maintain professional appearance.
