Summary

• This position provides transportation for patients accessing and utilizing services provided by Mosaic Life Care and attending physicians and affiliates. Must be knowledgeable of and follow all policies relating to the Mosaic Life Care shuttle vehicles and their operation. This position requires excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
• This position is employed by Mosaic Health System.

Duties

• Provides door-to-door services in the transportation of patients by assisting the patient in to the vehicle and to appropriate destination.
• Handles all incoming requests for transportation from designated personnel.
• Keeps van clean, serviced, and properly maintained.
• Communicates progress and concerns with Operations Manager.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Chauffeur's license and BLS certification, or must obtain BLS certification within six (6) weeks of employment. EMT Certification preferred.
• Previous experience as a driver in transportation services.
