Job summary

St. George School is seeking a Van Driver for the 2026-2027 school year in Mid-Coast Maine. A valid Maine driver’s license, good people skills, and knowledge of traffic laws are required, along with CHRC authorization. The role is 6 hours/day during the school year with benefits including health and dental insurance, paid holidays and paid sick time.

Pay range is $20.43/hr to $25.79/hr depending on experience, and the position remains open until suitable candidates are found.

Qualifications

• Holding a valid Maine driver’s license is required.
• Demonstrated people skills, knowledge of traffic laws, attention to detail and willingness to be flexible.
• A Maine DOE Criminal History Record Check (CHRC) authorization is also required.

We are looking for a Van Driver starting in the 2026-2027 school year. Holding a valid Maine driver’s license is required. Demonstrated people skills, knowledge of traffic laws, attention to detail and willingness to be flexible plus more responsibilities. A job description is available as requested. A Maine DOE Criminal History Record Check (CHRC) authorization is also required.

The position is 6 hrs a day during the school year. Benefits include health insurance/dental insurance/paid holidays and paid sick time. Summer and school vacations are non-working days. Pay range is $20.43/hr to $25.79/hr depending on experience.
