Job summary

Gordon Food Service is hiring a Van Delivery Driver in York, PA. You will deliver food products to restaurants, schools, and more, building customer relationships and traveling locally with daily home time.

The role requires a 21+ driver with a valid CDL, one year of driving and one year of customer service experience, ability to read/write English, and a clean driving record. Occasional help with deliveries and a drug test are required.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of driving experience and 1 year in customer service.

Location: 525 N State St, York PA 17403

Are you interested in a driving position but don't know where to start? Picture yourself as a van delivery driver with Gordon Food Service! In this position, you will be building relationships with customers while delivering food products essential to restaurants, schools, hospitals, universities, and more. You’ll be traveling locally and home every day, and you’ll be required to unload cases up to 100 lbs throughout your shift. Schedule: Monday-Friday 4:00am-Until work is completed. Every other Friday 10:00pm-6:00pm you will be making deliveries out of our Aberdeen MD location.

Pay Range: $20.00-$22.00

Does this look like you? At least 21 years of age. Able to travel to Aberdeen every other Friday to assist with recoveries. Commercial drivers license. Assist with drivers during deliveries occasionally. One year of previous driving experience and one year experience in customer service or related field. Ability to operate a two-wheel cart with loads of up to 350 pounds. Must be able to read, write and communicate in English (to read labels, pick lists, scanners, signage, company website information related to benefits, updates, complete paperwork and follow verbal instructions). Successfully pass a drug test that will assess drug usage (including marijuana) and a background check. Clean driving record; as required by DOT and Gordon Food Service standards.
