Job summary

Flow Safe Inc in Orchard Park, NY is seeking a Valve Tech to assemble and test high-pressure valve products. The role involves setting up test equipment, performing end-of-line functional tests, and recording results.

You will work with the engineering team to troubleshoot failures, maintain test records, and ensure compliance with customer and Flow Safe requirements. A High school diploma and 2–3 years in manufacturing/testing are required, reading drawings, and basic data entry skills are

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2-3 years experience in a manufacturing/testing environment.
• Post-secondary course in pressure testing techniques and testing equipment an asset.
• Ability to read, and interpret drawing specifications and blueprints.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and retrieval.
• Safety and quality training a plus.
• Attention to details and ability to follow procedures.
• Manual dexterity for operating machinery and computers.
• Problem solving to identify and address issues.

Responsibilities

• Set up specialized test equipment to diagnose, test and validate valve products.
• Conduct end-of-line functional testing on valve components and record results.
• Compare test results to specifications and set valves to order requirements.
• Assist with testing equipment maintenance and repair; maintain shop equipment.
• Maintain test results and records; document test outcomes.
• Support engineering by testing valve subcomponents and prototypes.
• Perform VR repairs to Flow Safe valves per procedures.
• Ensure production-test final assemblies meet customer and Flow Safe requirements.
