Job summary

Flow Control Group is seeking a valve technician in the United States, Indiana region, to support repair, disassembly, calibration, and certification of valve components. Expect to follow safety and quality procedures and to operate various workshop tools and equipment.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, hands-on skills with hand and power tools, and the ability to learn our trade while maintaining a proactive, reliable work ethic. Local travel may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED. Desirable: technical or trade school degree.
• Ability to learn the trade and work with hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety and quality procedures and regulations.
• Operate equipment such as overhead hoists, forklifts, sand blaster, parts washer, and torch.
• Disassemble valves per manufacturer manuals without damaging parts.
• Document job data and photos in ValvKeep database.
• Coordinate with office on repair requirements/scope.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and equipment.
• Assemble, calibrate, and certify valve per manuals.
• Occasional field assignments and varying work elevations.
