Job summary

Pioneer Industrial Corporation is hiring a valve repair technician to follow safety and quality procedures while operating overhead hoists and fabrication tools. You will document job data, assist with disassembly and reassembly, and calibrate valve components per manuals.

Occasional field work and lifting up to 50 lbs are required. We seek a candidate with a high school diploma or GED, hands-on tool experience, and a proactive, reliable attitude.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical or trade school degree preferred.
• Ability to learn our trade; experience using hand and power tools.
• Must be able to travel and maintain a valid driving record; forklift certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety and quality procedures and regulations.
• Operate equipment such as overhead hoists, sand blaster, parts washer, and torch.
• Disassemble valves per manuals and document data in ValvKeep database; photograph components.
• Coordinate with office on repair requirements and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Inspect, assemble, calibrate, and certify valve components per manufacturers’ manuals.
• May assist in field assignments and work at various elevations as needed.
