Ovation Holdings Inc. in Iowa is seeking a Valve Shop Supervisor to lead the day-to-day operations of our valve repair shop, where we rebuild, test and certify industrial safety relief, line and control valves.

This hands-on leader supervises 5–20 shop technicians, schedules work orders, enforces safety and quality standards, and drives improvements in shop methods, equipment and workflow to deliver on-time, high-quality work for our customers.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of frontline supervisory experience in manufacturing or repair.
• Technical or vocational education or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with common hand, power and measuring tools.
• Ability to read technical manuals, specifications and drawings.

Responsabilités

• Directly supervise 5–20 valve shop technicians who disassemble, inspect, remanufacture, build, test and calibrate valve and actuator assemblies.
• Set clear performance expectations, track individual and team results, and conduct annual performance reviews.
• Coordinate training and development so technicians build skills and certifications over time.
• Implement and enforce company policies and procedures fairly and consistently.
