Job summary

Control-Souther is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee the Valve & Mechanical Services facility in Lakeland, ensuring efficient operation, quality, and P&L management across multiple projects. You will supervise scheduling, budgeting, production, material control and procurement while upholding standards of safety and compliance.

Responsibilities include directing valve repair/machining activities, coordinating inventory and purchasing, and maintaining on-time shipments.

Qualifications

• Experience leading valve repair/machining operations.
• Familiar with NBIC regulatory requirements.
• Strong leadership and scheduling skills.
• Proven ability to manage budgets and P&L.
• Proficient with MS Office and project management tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage Valve Repair/machining activities with emphasis on safety, quality, and cost.
• Coordinate and supervise repair/machining operations including inventory/purchasing to ensure material availability.
• Assign work, schedule shifts, and evaluate performance of Valve Repair staff.
• Direct supervision of production personnel; plan schedules for leads and machinists.
• Develop and enforce quality control procedures for valve repair work.
