Job summary

McWane Plant & Industrial in Exeter, CA, is seeking a Machine Operator for the Valve Department. You will maintain valve inventory, process orders for shipment, adjust valves, and operate test machines, forklifts, cranes, and packaging equipment. In-person valve tests may be required with customers.

Qualifications

• Must follow all safety rules and wear PPE as required.
• Proactively maintains safe and clean work areas.
• Reads a tape measure and micrometer for valve specs.
• Able to operate a forklift and handle valves safely.
• Cross trains in the pipe department and shows reliability.

Responsibilities

• Maintain valve inventory and process valve orders for shipment.
• Make changes and adjustments to valves as needed.
• Operate valve test machines, forklifts, cranes and packaging equipment.
• Perform in-person valve tests with customers as required.
