Job summary

Valmet is seeking a Valve Engineer II to join our New Product Development team in Houston. You will design and develop new valve products, including high-pressure gate and ball valves, and perform calculations and simulations to validate concepts.

The role requires 3-5 years of valve design experience, proficiency in SolidWorks/AutoCAD and FEA/CFD, and knowledge of API 6D, API 6A, MSS-SP-81, ASME codes. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 3-5 years of valve design experience.
• Proficiency in CAD software and engineering analysis tools.

Responsibilities
