Job summary

Astrion is seeking an Engineering Technician II/III to support NASA MSFC on the METTS III contract at Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, Alabama. The role focuses on valve maintenance, testing, and documentation within a lab and industrial environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of directly relatable work experience preferred.
• Experience with valve maintenance or testing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, clean, reassemble, repair, and hydrostatic/pneumatic testing of various valves.
• Read and interpret schematics for valve assemblies in high pressure, hydraulic, or cryogenic environments.
• Operate hand tools and power tools in performing maintenance.
• Follow MSFC Quality Control procedures and applicable codes/standards.
• Complete documentation of testing and repairs in the Work Management system (Windows).
• Provide timely updates to management and coworkers to ensure task completion.
