Job summary

St. David’s Round Rock Medical Center seeks a Registered Nurse Valve Clinic Coordinator Lead to oversee the valve program operations. You will coordinate between cardiology, cardiac surgery, imaging, and the cath lab to ensure high-quality patient care.

You will also drive clinical management of structural heart patients, mentor staff, and lead ongoing education for patients and providers within a leading cardiovascular program.

Qualifications

• RN license required and active.
• ACLS and BCLS certifications to be obtained within 30 days of start date.
• Bachelor's degree and RN licensure are required.
• Minimum 3 years of RN experience, with cardiac patient care preferred.
• Direct involvement in education and care of cardiovascular disease patients.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily valve clinic operations and coordinate across cardiology, imaging and cath lab teams.
• Oversee patient care from referral through post-procedure follow-up.
• Monitor clinical outcomes, lead improvement initiatives, and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Recruit, orient, develop and mentor nursing staff; manage scheduling and education.
• Develop educational materials for patients and healthcare providers.
