Job summary

ETE REMAN in Milwaukee, WI is seeking an Operator, Level 2 on the Valve Body team. You will provide labor, parts, service and goods to teammates, supporting the remanufacturing of transmissions. Day-to-day tasks include following detailed instructions, inspecting components, and helping other team members to ensure daily demands are met.

The role emphasizes being organized, proactive, and focused on safety, quality, and teamwork as the operation scales with demand.

Qualifications

• Able to read gauges and follow detailed instructions.
• Mechanical background and shop experience preferred.
• Must be 18+ and capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Willing to get dirty and work with chemicals.
• Stand 8+ hours daily and work with varied tools.

Responsibilities

• Read, understand and follow work instructions and procedures.
• Examine and clean components; check for wear and defects.
• Assist in multiple roles within the department as needed.
• Perform quality checks to ensure parts meet standards.
• Operate equipment and tools used in the remanufacturing process.
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized workspace and attend on-time daily.
