Job summary

Flowserve seeks a Mechanical Engineer to design, develop, and implement mounting systems for valve automation and accessories across Flowserve platforms. You will create CAD models, drawings, and documentation for mounting kits and integrated components.

The role collaborates with engineering, field service, supply chain, manufacturing, and global teams to improve automation processes across oil & gas, petrochemical, power, and industrial sectors.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
  • 3-5 years experience with digital positioners for control valves, valve automation, actuators, accessories, or industrial mechanical systems.
  • Strong CAD experience; SolidWorks preferred. Drafting and GD&T standards.
  • Understanding of pneumatic systems, control valves, or automation packages.
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop mounting kits for control valves and automated valve assemblies.
  • Create CAD models, fabrication drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
  • Support integration of digital positioners, switch boxes, solenoids, and pneumatic accessories.
  • Evaluate field measurements and develop customized mounting solutions.
  • Collaborate with field service to implement processes and install instructions.
  • Work with suppliers and manufacturing on make-versus-buy decisions.
  • Maintain and enhance engineering libraries, drawings, and configuration documentation.
  • Provide technical support for sales and in-house roles.
